The Glover family were one of the first to plant grapes on their farm in Marlborough’s Dillon’s Point sub-region in 1988. Nineteen years later, led by eldest son Ben, the family launched Zephyr, a range of single vineyard wines from the farm.
This family-owned Single Vineyard Pinot Gris (from the Alice Mills Vineyard) expresses the ethereal, aromatic and structural flair of the Mills & Ford Sub-Region in Marlborough, New Zealand.
The Zephyr, Pinot Gris shows pristine pertness, poise and precision. A touch of sweetness to ensure you get the ‘kick’ to keep you partying. The Nose shows red crab apple, Asian pear and spice. The Palate is apple and pear crumble with a touch of cinnamon. Lovely texture, weight and richness, with a delicious balancing acidity. This will age for 8 years.
