The Domaine de la Pierre des Dames, Bourgogne Blanc

Domaine de la Pierre des Dames is located in the picturesque commune of Prissé, nestled in the heart of the Lamartinien Valley. Founded in 1992 by Vincent Nectoux, Jean-Michel Aubinel, and Marie-Thérèse Canard, they cultivate 26 hectares across southern Burgundy.

Committed to sustainability, Domaine de la Pierre des Dames, since 2020, has eliminated the use of chemical herbicides. This eco-friendly approach has earned them their High Environmental Value Certification. Using ancestral knowledge combined with modern techniques, they make a beautiful range of wines that showcase sense of place, typicity of the varietals, and precise winemaking expertise.

The estate grown Chardonnay grapes are machine harvested from south facing vineyards in the Chevagny-Lès-Chevrières commune. Fermentation in stainless steel, using selected yeasts. Followed by seven months of ageing on the fine lees, before fining and filtration.

The Domaine de la Pierre des Dames, Bourgogne Blanc is a complex wine that reveals a deep yellow-gold hue and exhibits remarkable intensity on the nose. Aromas of lime blossom and tropical fruit, notably mango, reflect its delightful bouquet. On the palate, this full-bodied, fleshy wine offers a lovely, long and fresh finish.
