Part of the Dezat Dynasty, Sancerre producers for over 40 years. Firmin Dezat, together with his parents Simon and Nadine, have stayed in the original André Dezat cellars after the original business was split between the third generation of cousins. He wishes to become organic and is in organic conversion.
The Domaine Firmin Dezat produces one of the best Sancerres we have tasted. It is dry and fruity with a wonderfully delicate bouquet and has great length. Their vineyards have three different types of soil which give added complexity.
Aromas of fresh cut grass, white flowers, citrus and exotic fruits, infused throughout with the typical Sancerre elegance and mineral character.
