Laurent Fayolle is turning this 13-hectare Domaine Fayolle into a leader of the appellation. He has expanded his cellar and is now able to move his wine by gravity. These are all classically made wines. Famous for their Hermitage and Crozes Hermitage this wine is a fun filled departure from big reds.
The delicious viognier La Mistrale – classed as Collines Rhodaniennes – is now organic and a great example of Viognier from its spiritual home in the Northern Rhone.
La Mistrale is gorgeously perfumed and exotic with excellent freshness. Juicy apricot and peach aromas, together with hints of honeysuckle. Ripe and rich on the finish with balancing acidity.
