Isola del Sole Bianco, Isola dei Nuraghi IGT

When Antonio Argiolas decided to bet on wines of his land, he owned only three-hectares farm at Serdania, a village at 20 kilometers from Cagliari in Sardinia. A father’s bequest, this farm was the place where he planted his first vineyard. The legacy of that ambition, guarded by his sons Franco and Giuseppe, is today enhanced by his grandchildren Valentina, Francesca and Antonio.

A blend of Nuragus and Vermentino – the grapes undergo a cold maceration, soft pressing and natural decanting followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures. Then refining ‘Sur Lie’ for 60 days. Maturation occurs in French oak barrels.

The Isola del Sole Bianco shines like the Sardinian sun, and is a lively straw yellow in colour. In the glass there is a harmonious bouquet of yellow blossom, tropical fruits and underlying mossy notes. With lively citrus and tropic fruit on the palate and a fresh slightly salty acidity.
