Jean-Luc Mardon is the 5th generation of his family to run this 45 hectare domaine in Oisly, Touraine. He has been at the helm for 20 years, taking over from his father, Guy. They are producing some fantastic quality, accessible wines. Using 100% estate grown-fruit from 25 year-old-vines growing in sandy soils on clay subsoil. Wines are matured on their fine lees until bottling in the following spring for added texture and body.
The Domaine Pré Baron, Touraine Sauvignon Blanc 2022 vintage brings a riper style, with inviting peachy fruit on the nose and peach and slightly tropical fruit notes on the palate. Full-flavoured and ripe with a fresh lingering, lemony finish.
