Domaine Daridan, Touraine Sauvignon Blanc

In the quaint commune of Cour-Cheverny lies Domaine Daridan, a family estate with a winemaking heritage spanning seven generations. Since 2001, Benoît Daridan has led the domaine with passion and precision.

At Domaine Daridan, great care is taken in the vineyard, with a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship with the estate proudly holding the HEV (High Environmental Value) certification. Its unique clay-siliceous and limestone soils contribute to the distinct character and minerality of the wines.

Estate grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes from vineyards in Soings en Sologne. Maceration time of 12 hours. After pressing the juice is fermented in stainless steel using indigenous yeasts. Ageing on the fine lees in stainless steel for a further 12 months. Filtration only, no fining.

The Domaine Daridan, Touraine Sauvignon Blanc is golden yellow dress with green reflections. The nose opens with expressive aromas of ripe exotic fruits interwoven with vibrant citrus notes. On the palate, the wine is crisp and lively, showcasing a refined minerality. Generous fruit flavours carry through, culminating in a harmonious and elegantly balanced finish.
