Château Haut-Grelot has been managed by the Bonneau family for four generations now. Figure of the great wines of Bordeaux, the estate in Blaye, Côtes de Bordeaux marks the era of dynamism and innovation at the heart of a prestigious terroir to reveal the best quality of its wines.
The blend is 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine undergoes 12 months ageing in new and one season, and two season french oak barrels. This wine is selected from the best batches of the Première Cuvée.
Château Haut-Grelot has an expressive nose; is fresh and complex. The wine is well balanced, harmonious with silky red berry flavours singing with a vanilla background. A fine grip and nice acidity. A very approachable, young Bordeaux.
