Buena Vista Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley

Founded in 1857, Buena Vista is California’s first premium winery, and its history is as colourful as it is proud. Today, the legend is being re-born under the vision of Jean-Charles Boisset. Just outside the town of Sonoma, the original winery is now a California historic landmark.

The wine uses fruit from across the Napa Valley which is aged for 18 months in French oak (35% new). This is a classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon – Rich and luxurious.

This wine is full bodied, powerful and well structured. It has a complex array of black cherries, violets and a hint of maple aromas before the sumptuous blackcurrant, red plum and cocoa flavours envelop the palate. The silky, fine grained tannins lead up impressively to the intense and long finish.
