Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Vignerons d’Igé

Between Cluny and Mâcon, in the southern Burgundy region, the terroir of Igé is operated by a cooperative cellar that was founded in 1927. The Cave des Vignerons d’Igé currently brings together 80 winegrowers and produces wines mainly in the Mâcon-Igé and Saint-Véran appellations based on Chardonnay.

Blending tradition and modernity, the Vignerons d’Igé retain the unique character of each of their wines.

The Bourgogne Pinot Noir combines the finesse of Pinot and the character of oak cask. It has lighter tannins with delicate aromas of red berries, slightly more fruit forward than you would expect but quite delicate flavours with a lilting finish.

In conversion to organic farming. Until full certification throughout all the producers, the wines display the High Environmental Value (HVE) logo.
