Amarone della Valpolicella, Classico, Giuseppi Campagnola

The Giuseppe Campagnola winery has its heart in Marano di Valpolicella, where it produces and vinifies the grapes, both from suitable land owned and from historical suppliers. Since 1907, five generations have been enamoured of land, vineyards and grapes. The family has always worked together. Fathers, mothers, children, grandchildren bring the love for the family to their daily work. Giuseppe with the sisters, Antonella and Monica today heads the company together with his sons Paolo, enologist and Andrea, business manager. The harmony of the Campagnola family emerges in the notes of its wines.

The grapes were hand harvested at the end of September, and then traditionally naturally dried on mats for 90 to 100 days. After this period, the grapes are then soft pressed in December/January followed by 30 days maceration on the skins. After fermentation, 60% of the wine is aged for 24 months in large oak barrels and 40% of the wine is aged for 18 months in new French Allier oak barriques. The final assemblage is then carried out and the wine then spends a further 6 months in bottle before release.

In the certified organic cultivation of the vineyards of the Campagnola estates, products of natural origin are used, a lot of commitment and passion, which make it possible to obtain high quality grapes while respecting the environment, biodiversity and the ecosystem. The great value of Campagnola is the will to convey the sense of a community that works towards a single direction, that of quality, brought to the new generations, to safeguard a territory and a heritage of ingenuity and passion.
