Formed in 1973, Pierre Chainier is both a négociant and the owner of some 250 hectares of vines in the heart of Touraine, from which it sources classic Loire varieties. The grapres for this wine are sourced from growers in Muscadet with whom Francois Chainier has developed long-term relationships. The wine is blended by Francois to ensure a consistent style and quality each vintage.
An easy drinking, summer wine. A slightly savoury, mineral and citrussy palate with white hedgerow flowers. Some pleasant weightyness on the finish. Perfect with seafood.
