The smallest of the major estates in Burgundy is one of the few that still makes wine in the historical centre of Beaune in oval wooden vats. The Jaffelin estate presses its grapes in a vertical wine-press; a rare, traditional technique using handmade vats.
Maison Jaffelin has exclusively selected Pinot Noir grapes to elaborate this excellent Vin de France Pinot Noir.
This wine has a beautiful red purple colour. It is limpid and brilliant. The bouquet is round and explosive with aromas of cherry and small red fruits. On the palate it is soft, complex and rich, with presence of fine quality tannins and with a great length.
