Burke’s Beers is named after brewer Samantha Burke’s family and brewed in the beautiful village of Blockley in the Cotswolds. It is one of the smallest breweries in the country, if not the smallest and they brew, bottle and label everything by hand. The beers are made traditionally with love and care, conditioned in the bottle and are unfined, so no animal products, and unfiltered. They use only British malts and hops and the bottles, labels, boxes and caps are all made in Britain. All the grain goes to a local farm and the hops and yeast are composted.
Blockley Blonde – Golden Ale
A clean, thirst-quenching golden ale with a hint of elderflower, which is added during hopping. Brewed in small batches using British Progress and Fuggles hops and UK lager malts – Europils and Caramalt. Unfined and unfiltered it is then bottled conditioned to create the carbonation. Refrigerate before drinking and pour carefully contains sediment. Suitable for vegans.
