Located at the heart of Castilla – La Mancha, Mano a Mano Tempranillo originates from a plot of land with special characteristics: very old vineyards, poor soil and an enormous potential for yielding quality grapes. Bodegas Mano a Mano has 330 hectares in total, 300 hectares are located at Finca La Dehesa in Alhambra and 30 at Finca Sierra de La Solana in Herencia
Made from Tempranillo vines with an age range between 35-40. The aim of Mano a Mano is to achieve freshness and maturity at the same time. The result is this unique wine from the region of La Mancha that is easy to drink and that has a great ability of earning genuine admirers. The Tempranillo variety matures quickly here, producing medium-sized, compact and homogeneous clusters with a thick-skinned and soft-fleshed fruit. The difference with the Tempranillo variety produced in other regions is its capacity to adapt to dry conditions, resulting in the production of robust wines with intense colours and a strong taste.
This wine spends 6 months in French oak barrels.
It has notes of stone fruits, cherry and plum on the nose; it is fresh with notes of cocoa and coffee. On the palate, it is a strong and tasty wine with sweet tannins.
