From the La Vasconia Estate with vineyards at 515 metres above sea level. The nose firstly gives up vanilla and smoke from the oaking, followed by red fruits and plum aromas. It has a good volume on the palate, robust structure representative of the good vintage. This is complex with a spicy undertow, which balances the freshness and abundant fruit. Still relatively young, this wine really gets better in the glass, but will definitely cellar for 5 years.
